Amazing Nayeem-22 year Lad restricts Sri Lanka under 400

Nayeem Hasan, a son of Chittagong, made his Test debut for the Bangladesh cricket team in 2018 against the West Indies. In the first match of his Test career, he took 5 wickets in the 1st innings. The West Indies were devastated by the bowling cannon of Nayeem and Shakib that day. The man of the match was the current captain Mominul Haque. After almost 4 years, Nayeem Hasan brought great success to the Bangladesh team again against Sri Lanka in 1st innings. This time the right arm off-break bowler takes 6 important wickets in the 1st innings. In 8 overs, he traps Dimuth Karunaratna in LBW. In 27.2 Over, Nayeem took the 2nd wicket of another opener Osada Farnando with a remarkable caught behind the wicket taken by Litton Kumar Das. Then Sri Lanka started moving towards a much larger collection. Angelo Mathews scored another Test century in his career. He was playing very well. He had a very strong alliance with Chandimal. When Nayeem Hasan takes Chandimal’s wicket in 113.1 overs and brought Bangladesh back in the match, Sri Lanka’s collection was 319/5. In the same over, he returned Sri Lankan wicketkeeper Nirosan Dickwala to the dressing room. He then bowled Ashita Fernando in the 149th over to prevent another pair of Mathews and Fernando from making a huge run. In the 153rd over, Nayeem dismissed Centurion Angelo Mathews for 199 to take the best spell of his career. 30-4-105-6 means he took 6 wickets with 105 runs in 30 overs in one innings. Note that he did not give a single run in 4 overs. There is no doubt that he is the asset for his country. Still he is young but he delivers performance as pro-player. Interestingly, Spinners like Nayeem Hasan, Shakib Al Hasan and Taijul Islam dominates and takes all 10 wickets of Sri Lanka where not Shakib Al Hasan but Nayeem Hasan is the leader this time.
